One of the world’s favorite social media celebs, Ze Frank, initiated a community project to create remixes of Pastor Ray’s impromptu song “I’m about whip sombody’s @$$”. The song was inspired by a conversation between Pastor Ray and his daughter that occurred when she was having a bad day.
In addition to the song being used as a tool to trigger ownership and perhaps a bit of levity for people having a bad day, the project demonstrates the cool dynamics that occur everyday in decentralized communities like the blogosphere — nearly a hundred remixes were contributed to Ze’s project.
I love Pastor Ray’s general message to know and be yourself — great advice in general as well as for those struggling to find their ‘authentic voice’ in the social media space.
