Political Forum in Second Life

house News.com has posted several great images of the new political forum in Second Life — an idea by John Gage and a place for real world political discussions with Second Life citizens and real world political figures. California Representative, George Miller, held a press conference there yesterday.

One of my biggest complaints about Second Life is searching for locations like the one above. None of the articles I’ve read offer a tiny URL or official location name that can be successfully searched for in Second Life, so if you have this information, please advise.

UPDATE: Either of the following URLs will transport you (er…your avatar) directly to Capitol Hill in Second Life: http://www.clearink.com/capitolhill or secondlife://Capitol%20Hill%202/255/255/0 Thanks for the pointer, Kiwini Oe!

By the way, I sorted out my avatar woes (mostly). Getting reasonable looking hair was a learning experience that I’ll blog about soon, but here’s a hint of what I had to go through…
